During the summer months every morning the turkeys strut around our yard. There are large turkeys, a few teenage turkeys and some wee-small baby turkeys. They nibble at the cut grass, dust themselves in the flower beds and eventually waddle off into the woods. At times the turkeys and the deer passively enjoy the orchard. The deer eat the fallen pears and don't even seem to notice the turkeys and the turkeys walk idyllically next to the deer as if the deer were tree stumps.
Then one day, the turkeys are gone. Where? This website was very useful in finding out about our turkeys.
